BEDFORD – Senior citizens and their family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend an upcoming Senior Expo hosted by Reps. Jesse Topper (R-Bedford/Franklin/Fulton) and Carl Walker Metzgar (R-Bedford/Somerset) on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Crossroads Bible Church (formerly Heartland Hall),
5564 Business U.S. Route 220 in Bedford.
“Attendees will have a great opportunity to learn about services available to senior citizens. Representatives from the health care, insurance, financial planning, fraud protection, government services and more will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance,” Topper said.
“Rarely are so many services brought together in one convenient location. I strongly encourage area senior citizens and their family members and caregivers to come out and take advantage of the Senior Expo,” Metzgar added.
Lunch will be provided by the Area Agency on Aging and door prizes will be awarded.
