Metzgar, Dowling to Host Senior Expo in Somerset

HARRISBURG – Reps. Carl Walker Metzgar (R-Bedford/Somerset) and Matt Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) invite residents to attend their 11th Annual Senior Expo on Thursday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will once again be held at the Somerset County Technology Center, located at 281 Technology Drive in Somerset.

“This yearly expo has helped thousands of senior citizens connect with valuable services geared toward them,” Metzgar said. “I look forward to assisting residents through this outreach event again this year, as well as meeting with all who attend.”

Dozens of exhibitors will be on hand to provide information and materials to senior citizens, their family and/or caregivers. The expo promises to educate and entertain with health screenings, numerous informational exhibitors, door prizes, lunch and much more.
